Eastern Time ("E.T.") on Tuesday December 14, 1999 and ends at 11:59:59 P.M. E.T. on Saturday April 1, 2000.

ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is only open to legal residents of the United States and Canada living in the United States or Canada (except the Province of Quebec), who are at least 18 years of age, and, if entering online, logging onto the Internet from the United States or Canada. Employees, officers and directors of Lycos, Universal Studios, COHEN-FRIEDBERG ASSOCIATES/C.O.M.P., their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, fulfillment and marketing agencies, their immediate families, (defined as spouse, child, sibling, parent, or grandparent) and those living in their same households are NOT eligible to participate in the Promotion. By entering the Promotion or participating in any Promotion or prize-related activity, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Lycos, COHEN-FRIEDBERG ASSOCIATES/C.O.M.P., Universal Studios, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any injury, loss or damages of any kind that may arise out of participation in the Promotion or out of the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of prizes. 3. HOW TO ENTER: The Lycos/Universal "Get Lucky" Sweepstakes is an electronic/mail-in random drawing, sponsored by Lycos. LIMIT: You may enter by e-mail or via mail up to a total of seven times, one entry per unique code per movie title. If entering by e-mail: You must connect to the Internet through an Internet access provider. To enter the Promotion online, you must enter the unique movie code found on the following Universal Studios video titles (each title has its own unique code): The Red Violin, American Pie, American Pie-Unrated, K9-11, Dudley Do Right, Mystery Men and Bowfinger plus your first and last name, complete address, City, State, Zip code, telephone number and your e-mail address in the online entry form located on the entry page of this promotional site. Each of the above video titles contain their own unique sweepstakes entry code. You may enter up to seven times by entering each unique code once. After entering the correct information in all of the fields and clicking on the "Submit" button, you will immediately be entered in a database for a random drawing to win one of the prizes offered in the Promotion. All Internet entries must be received by 4/1/00. Participants may also enter the Promotion by legibly printing their first and last name, address, telephone number and e-mail address (if applicable) and unique movie code on a 3 inch x 5 inch card or piece of paper, placing the card or paper in a #10 envelope, and mailing it to: Universal "Get Lucky" Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 2312 Framingham, MA 01703-2312 USA. Participants may submit up to one entry per unique entry code during the Promotion, but each entry must be mailed in a separately stamped envelope. All entries must be postmarked no later than 4/1/00 and received by 4/8/00. More than one entry from any person per unique entry code, whether online or by mail, will void all entries from that person or e-mail address. No photocopies, reproductions or facsimiles allowed. All entries become the sole property of Lycos and none will be returned. 4. PROMOTION DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: All entries will be combined and the potential winners will be selected from all eligible entries received in a random drawing, from all eligible entries received, on or about April 28, 2000 by COHEN-FRIEDBERG ASSOCIATES/C.O.M.P. Prizes won by minors will be awarded in the name of parent or legal guardian for the benefit of the minor if such parent/legal guardian follows the procedures outlined in these rules. Potential winners will be sent their prize-winning notification via electronic mail (e-mail), if applicable, and/or notification will be confirmed by postal mail. A potential major prize winner(s) has (10) days from receipt of notification to claim his/her prize by completing, signing and returning the prize Affidavit of Eligibility release, Liability Release and, where lawful, Publicity Release forms, or an alternate winner will be selected. Non-compliance or, if a selected potential winner cannot be contacted, provides incorrect email or mailing address, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize, or fails to return the completed and executed Affidavits and Releases, as required, or if the Prize Notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, an alternate winner will be selected. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Lycos to use winner's name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law.

Odds of winning any prize in the drawing depend on the number of eligible entries received. GENERAL INFORMATION: This Game is conducted in English (which will be given its everyday ordinary meaning) and any and all disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the U.S., exclusively, and subject to the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
